AWARDS/SCHOLARSHIPS

BASIC INFORMATION WITH REGARD TO VARIOUS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES

1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme

  1. This scheme is meant for the students studying in the various courses approved by AICTE of Govt of India and belonging to Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes , subject to the prescribed terms and conditions, sponsored by Govt. of India.
  2. The applicant must be belonged to SC/ ST/BC of Haryana state.
  3. The applicant must be resident of Haryana
  4. Under this scheme five components i.e Tuition Fees , Development Fund, Student Fund , Examination Fees and Maintenance Allowance are transferred to the respective Aadhar linked bank accounts of the Applicants in case of SCs and only Maintenance Allowance in case BCs, as Scholarship.
  5. The fees structure as maintenance under point d ) above must be approved by the competent Authority.
  6. The Annual income of the parents / Guardians of the applicant should not be exceeded Rs. 2.5 lac in case of SC /ST and Rs. 1.lac in case BC.
  7. The amount of scholarship is directly transferred to the respective Aadhar linked bank accounts of the Applicants .

2. SCSP scheme

  1. This scheme is sponsored by Govt of Haryana
  2. This scheme is meant for the students studying in the various courses in various Institutions situated in Haryana and belonging to Scheduled Castes, subject to the prescribed terms and conditions.
  3. The applicant must be belonged to SC/ ST/BC of Haryana state.
  4. The applicant must be resident of Haryana
  5. Under this scheme only tuition fees is reimbursed and amount is directly transferred respective Aadhar linked bank accounts of the applicants.

As per the guidelines of the Government of Haryana, all the scholarship will be distributed after online registration of applicants. So all the eligible applicants are directed to submit their data through online registration at the Welfare of SC/BC department of Haryana website. After submitting the data online all the applicants must submit their application form generated by website along with valid documents to the concerned institute where applicant is studying. After verification of documents as per guidelines of government the scholarship will be transferred in the bank account of applicants. All the payment made to those eligible students who have Aadhar Number issued by Government of India.
